This journal was published in our 50th year. Houses of the Ashfield District Part 2 adds to the record of our built heritage and of those who once lived in our neighbourhoods. The articles in this journal help build on our communal memory. They are thoroughly researched, factual and entertaining.
The articles in this journal have been written by members and friends of the Society. They are all meticulously researched, some over many years. For those interested in the history of some of the wonderful homes recorded, this journal is a great read. For others who may be considering undertaking a history of their own home or a house, the articles in this journal also provide interesting examples of how such histories can be researched and then written.
