A Tour of St David’s Church Complex Dobroyd (Now known as Haberfield)

St David’s Uniting Church is a heritage-listed Uniting church at 51- 53 Dalhousie Street, Haberfield. The property is owned by the Uniting Church in Australia and deserves its listing on the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 19 August 2003.
Vincent Crow has lived in Haberfield for most of his life. In 1974 he began the campaign to create a Haberfield Conservation Area by writing to the National Trust to gain recognition of its heritage significance. From then the campaign was conducted through the Ashfield and District Historical Society.
Ashfield District Historical Society Journal No.11 has an interesting article on the Ramsay Family Vault which is located in the grounds of St David’s. We will have some copies for sale on the day for $10.
